My Story

As the Owner and founder of Mother K Love Doula. Karen serves private clients and volunteers at her local hospital and church.

She was impacted by her mother's own stories both with her and her sixteen siblings. Since then she's shared her stories about experiences she's had while assisting her siblings prenatal, birth and postpartum experiences.

Karen started assisting women with babies in 1989 while caring for her oldest sister & her infant. She continued  assisting her siblings and mothers in the community. In 1996 she then experienced the birthing process when witnessing the birth of her younger sister's child.

Karen married and had her personal experiences  while birthing her three babies and raising them. Her parenting skills reassured her passion to assist mothers by preparing a healthy meal, relieving them from household responsibilities, making sure the mother sleep when the baby sleeps or take care baby while mother sleeps and many other responsibilities that will comfort the mother.

She believes in providing you a doula experience based upon her experiences, continuing education and spreading that knowledge to you. You'll see Karen's passion for ensuring you have the most and best available updated information.

A women needs to feel safe and confident no matter where or how she is birthing.  I believe that birth is different for each individual woman. My mission is to provide doula care that is compassionate, warmhearted, respectful, and centered around your needs. I feel blessed, humbled, and honored to be included in this special time of your life. It is my passion to provide that for those who entrust me with their care.
